Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
- Pregnancy
- Menopause
- Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.

Women’s Health Services
Our goal at the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health Clinic is to provide comprehensive care to all our patients, including ensuring the health and readiness for our service women at every stage of life.
We encourage early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Gynecology and Women’s Health Services
We provide the following services at the 10th Medical Group:
- Preventative screening to include Well Woman Exams, pap tests, clinical breast exam, etc.
- Birth control counseling and initiation, including placement of implantable birth control methods
- Abnormal pap smear follow-up and cervical dysplasia treatment
- Screening for vaginal infections to include STDs
- Perimenopause/menopause management
- Abnormal bleeding evaluation and management
- Infertility evaluation, some management, and referral services
- Gynecological surgical services and scheduling
- Transgender care and hormone therapy
Obstetrics Care
The 10th Medical Group is now able to offer low-risk pregnancy care for beneficiaries, to include:
- Prenatal visits
- Ultrasound examinations
- Postpartum care
Your OB intake will occur between 8-10 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period. At this appointment, we will be asking questions about your family and personal medical history, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and genetic problems. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to complete the required questionnaires.
Delivery will occur at Evans Army Community Hospital’s Mountain Post Birthing Center.
Care at the 10th Medical Group is individualized. For patients who are deemed to have high-risk pregnancies, a referral may be made for all obstetrical care to occur at Evans Army Community Hospital or within the community, depending on the recommendation of the care team.
How to Make an Appointment
The Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health Clinic is a referral based clinic with the exception of pregnancy care and birth control consults. Referrals to our clinic must be made by your Primary Care Manager prior to scheduling an appointment.

TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:
