Important Immunizations Info

The United States Air Force Academy Allergy and Immunizations Clinic continues to support COVID-19 vaccination efforts on a weekly basis.  The clinic is currently closed every Thursday in order to support this vaccination effort. 

Influenza Vaccine Update

It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.
Please see the guidance below for getting the flu vaccine here at the 10th Medical Group located on the United States Air Force Academy.

Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs):

  • Active duty and Guard/Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.
  • The 10th Medical Group has flu vaccines available for ADSMs

Active Duty Family Members (ADFMs):

  • The 10th Medical Group has flu vaccines available for ADFMs
  • Flu vaccines are available for ages 6 months and up but with a limited supply of high dose flu vaccines for patients 65 years and older

Other Beneficiaries:

  • The 10th Medical Group has flu vaccines available for all beneficiaries
  • Flu vaccines are available for ages 6 months and up but with a limited supply of high dose flu vaccines for patients 65 years and older

Other Options for Getting the Flu Vaccine

  • If you’re unable to get the flu vaccine here, you can visit any participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized (civilian) provider. Visit www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more.
