Getting Care
Appointments Only
(Exception for Patients with Same Day Primary Care Appointment or Deployment Requirement)
Vaccines are now administered by appointment only unless being seen in a primary care clinic that day:
- Family Health
- Pediatrics
- Internal Medicine
- Flight Medicine
These patients may walk in but are advised that wait time could be 30-45 minutes based on other appointments already scheduled. Instructions to make appointments vary based on type of vaccine below.
Annual Flu Vaccine (CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE FOR AGES 65 AND UP)
Currently only available to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries ages 65 and older. This vaccine is available by appointment only. You can call the appointment line at 719-526-2273 or visit the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
COVID-19 Vaccine/Booster (CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE FOR AGES 5 AND UP)
COVID vaccines are available by appointment only. You can call the appointment line at 719-526-2273 or visit the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. For more information about who should get which vaccine, please visit the

All Vaccines Other than Flu/COVID-19
Vaccines for anything other than influenza or COVID-19 are made through either the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal or the Access to Care line.

Other Vaccine Information/Availability
Smallpox is not currently being administered. Deployment shots are by walk-in. Contact ahead of time via MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to confirm availability.
TB Testing (PPD) is not administered on Thursdays. Contact the clinic via MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to confirm availability.
