Visitor Guidelines
The United States Air Force Academy has implemented the trusted traveler program. As long as medical attendants or additional travelers are riding in the same vehicle as a DoD ID card holder, they only require some form of government identification in order to be permitted base access.
COVID-19 Facility Entrance Screening
Patients or visitors will not enter any facility on the Air Force Academy without a proper face covering. Face coverings with vents or valves are not authorized. The main clinic facility at 4102 Pinion Drive, Suite 100 requires that patients and visitors perform self-screening for symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Satellite locations such as the Community Pharmacy, Cadet Dental Clinic, Cadet/Flight Medicine Clinic and Mental Health Clinic all maintain entry control screening at their respective locations. If a patient or visitor is experiencing symptoms consistent with this diagram, they should not enter any facility. Instead, contact the Access to Care Line at 719-524-2273 or the Military Health System Nurse Advice Line at either https://mhsnurseadviceline.com/ or 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273), option 1 to be triaged to a more appropriate level of care.
