Who We Treat
The Allergy Clinic serves:
- Active Duty Service Members
We refer other patients to Evans Army Community Hospital Allergy and Immunology
or to a network provider
We require a referral from a Primary Care Manager. Referrals are active for 24 months.
Established patients can book appointments through the Access to Care line or submit messages via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
The Access to Care Line will contact you within 3 business days to book an appointment. If you’re not contacted within 3 business days, call 719-524-2273, option 1. They’ll make three attempts to call you. If they can’t reach you, you’ll be notified of your referral in the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
Initial Evaluation Instructions
For allergy consultations (allergic rhinitis, food allergy):
- STOP antihistamines for 7 days before your appointment, if possible (Zyrtec, Allegra, Claritin, Benadryl, Atarax, and Astelin nose spray).
- CONTINUE using before your appointment: Flonase, Nasonex or other steroid nasal spray, all asthma medications and inhalers.
If you've had a recent respiratory infection, ear infection or flu-like symptoms, postpone your appointment until at least 4 weeks after your symptoms go away.
Follow instructions on the Referral Support Page
to schedule an appointment with a TRICARE Network Provider.
